Neate Unleashes the Beast! Beetle Snags the Cup as the Commish Forgets His Studs!
Welcome to Week 3, where the standings are shuffling faster than a deck of cards and some managers are learning the hard way that benching your aces is a one-way ticket to "What If" territory. We had a clear statistical titan this week, while the race for the Homer Cup came down to the absolute wire.
MASH Monsters & Top Performers
There was no doubt who the king of the mountain was this week. Welcome to the Jungle (Neate) absolutely torched the league, posting a terrifying MASH of 77-27-6. Neate was top-3 in almost every offensive category, proving that when his bats wake up, the rest of the league should probably just stay in the dugout.
Other notable performers:
- chicksDigtheLongball (Luke): Posted a strong 69-33-8 MASH.
- The Beetle Bunch (Ben): Followed up his Week 2 recovery with a solid 65-42-3 MASH.
Matchup Mayhem: The Official Results
- Welcome to the Jungle (Neate) handled The Beetle Bunch (Ben) 7-3.

- JOBU (Jordy) defeated Staff Infection (Turg) 5-4-1.

- TNTNT (The Thompson Boys) took down Bronx Bombers (Doug) 6-4.

Focus on the Big Stories
A Commish-level Blunder
Let's talk about the man in the mirror. The Commish (Luke) secured a 5-3-2 win over Ads, but oh, what could have been. In a move that can only be described as "galaxy braining oneself," Luke left Dylan Cease and Logan Gilbert on the bench during some solid outings. Those missing stats likely cost him a much more decisive victory. Next time, Luke, start your studs.
Neate’s Revenge Tour 🌴
In 2025, Neate finished in 12th place, earning himself the dubious honor of buying the chips and dip for (eventually) this year's draft. Apparently, the prospect of lugging 2000g of chips to the draft was enough of a motivator. After three weeks, he sits at #2 in the standings and just posted the most dominant MASH of the season so far. He also officially claims the Homer Cup 🏆 with 13 HRs. If this keeps up, someone else will be on dip duty next year.
TNTNT Holds the Fort
The Thompson Boys managed a 6-4 win over brother Doug, which was enough to keep them perched at the #1 spot in the standings. They aren't just winning; they are surviving the early-season chaos better than anyone else.
This Week's Hard Luck Award 😢
The "Stats Don't Match the Scoreboard" trophy goes to The Beetle Bunch (Ben). Ben put up the 3rd best MASH in the league (65-42-3) and won the Homer Cup. In 90% of other weeks, that's an easy win. Unfortunately, he ran directly into the Week 3 buzzsaw that was Neate. To perform that well and still walk away with a 7-3 loss is the definition of "Freddy Beach Bad Luck."
This Week's "Got Away With One" Award 🍀
Raleigh Caps (Garrett) is living a charmed life, in more ways than one. G posted a subpar MASH of 42-59-9 (8th best), yet he walked away with a 6-4 victory over Zach. When you lose the league-wide comparison but win your H2H, you tip your cap to the fantasy gods and run before they change their minds.
Dumpster Fire of the Week: Bro Bichette's Bottom-Out 🔥
Bro Bichette (Zach) takes the walk of shame this week. After being a MASH Monster in Week 2, Zach's squad completely evaporated, posting a league-worst MASH of 22-85-3. He was non-competitive in nearly every pitching category and couldn't find enough offense to save himself. From the penthouse to the dumpster in seven days—tough look, Killer.
Standings Snapshot
- TNTNT (19-9-2) - Bruce and Joe are the early team to beat.
- Welcome to the Jungle (17-11-2) - Neate climbs to 2nd after his monster week.
- Bro Bichette (16-12-2) - Zach hangs onto 3rd despite the dumpster fire. ...
- The Beetle Bunch (9-21-0) - Ben is playing better than his record suggests!
Good luck in Week 4! Try to keep your studs in the lineup... looking at you, Commish.
