Killer's Eggs-traordinary Week! TNTNT Ascends, while the Commish Cracks Under Pressure π£
Happy Easter Monday, Freddy Beachers! While most of you were hunting for chocolate, Bro Bichette (Zach) was busy hunting for wins. Week 2 provided some massive swings in the standings, a few head-scratching victories, and one manager who might need to check if their roster is made of hollow plastic.
MASH Monsters & Top Performers
The Easter Bunny brought some massive stat lines this week, but nobody's basket was fuller than Bro Bichette (Zach).
MASH Monster: Bro Bichette (Zach) hopped all over the league with a lethal MASH of 73-33-4. He dominated the pitching side, leading the league in ERA (1.52) and Net Saves + Holds (6).
The Golden Eggs: The Beetle Bunch (Ben) and TNTNT (The Thompson Boys) tied for the second-best MASH at 70-34-6. A massive bounce-back for Ben after taking the Dumpster Fire last week!
Homer Cup Update π: We have a three-way tie for the most Home Runs this week! JOBU (Jordy), TNTNT (Bruce and Joe), and Welcome to the Jungle (Neate) all smashed 10 HRs. However, with the fewest At-Bats of the trio, the trophy heads to the TNTNT mantle! Bruce and Joe add some hardware to their early-season success.
Matchup Mayhem: The Official Results
- Bro Bichette (Zach) eggs-ecuted chicksDigtheLongball (Luke) 8-2.
- TNTNT (Bruce and Joe) blew up BaseOnBalls (Walks) 8-2.
- Welcome to the Jungle (Neate) out-hunted Handsy McNasty (Ads) 6-4.

- The Beetle Bunch (Ben) and JOBU (Jordy) finished in a 5-5-0 tie.

Focus on the Big Stories: Ascensions and Cracks
The Thompson Boys Take the Throne
After a solid Week 1, TNTNT (Bruce and Joe) exploded in Week 2. By pairing the second-best MASH in the league with a decisive 8-2 win over Walks, they have officially ascended to the #1 spot in the standings. They are looking like the team to beat early on, proving that two heads (and two managers) are better than one.
The Commish Cracks
It was a weekend to forget for chicksDigtheLongball (Luke). Not only did he get dismantled 8-2 by Zach, but he also posted a dismal MASH of 37-67-6 (11th in the league). After a good campaign last year, Soulja's power has evaporated, managing a league-low 4 HRs and only 5 on the season. If the playoffs started today, the Commish would be watching from the sidelines.
The "Coward Strategy" Continues?
The theme from Week 1 continued for The Golden Boy (Doug). While Forgy and Jordy gave their arms a bit more work this week, Doug is still playing a dangerous game of chicken with the 30 IP floor. He finished with just 33.2 IPβbarely squeaking past the minimum. One rainout or a short start and the Bombers are looking at an automatic pitching forfeit. Fortune favors the bold, Doug, not the timid!
This Week's Hard Luck Award π’
The Hard Luck Award goes to The Beetle Bunch (Ben). Benny put up a stellar 70-34-6 MASH (T-2nd best). In almost any other week, that's a 9-1 or 8-2 blowout. Instead, he ran into a stubborn JOBU (Jordy) who did just enough to force a 5-5 tie. From Dumpster Fire to statistical elite, and all Ben got was a single point in the standings. Rough.
This Week's "Got Away With One" Award π
Welcome to the Jungle (Neate) takes the prize for the luckiest bunny in the woods. Neate's MASH was a perfectly mediocre 51-50-9 (6th in the league). However, he had the good fortune of facing Handsy McNasty (Ads), who put up the absolute worst MASH of the week. Neate walked away with a 6-4 win despite a pitching staff that posted a league-worst -1 Net Wins.
Dumpster Fire of the Week: Ads' Easter Collapse π₯
Handsy McNasty (Ads) set the pace in Week 1, but in Week 2, the wheels fell off. Ads posted a league-low MASH of 34-75-1. His hitters couldn't find the ball (league-low 2 HR and 15 RBI), and his pitchers were handing out runs like Easter candy (league-worst -4 Net Wins). From first to a total Dumpster Fire in seven daysβit's a long way down!
Standings Snapshot
- TNTNT (13-5-2) - The Thompson Boys are explosive at the top!
- Bro Bichette (12-6-2) - Killer is lurking in second.
- Bronx Bombers (12-6-2) - Doug stays steady in the top 3.
...
- The Beetle Bunch (6-14-0) - Ben is climbing, but still in the basement for now.
Good luck in Week 3! Try not to eat too many leftover Peeps. π°
