Zach Seizes the Perch! Ads Goes Beast Mode as Joel Stays Comfy in Week 15!
With the playoffs looming in Week 22, the room for error is shrinking, and Week 15 absolutely reshuffled the deck at the top of the standings. We have a brand-new league leader, a manager who went completely scorched-earth on his opponent, and a hilarious fall from grace for last week's golden boy.
MASH Monsters & Top Performers
The crown for the ultimate corporate ladder-climber of the week goes to Handsy McNasty (Ads), who put together an elite, league-leading MASH of 79-21-10. Ads was firing on all cylinders, leaving no doubt about who owned the week.
Other managers making plenty of noise this week:
- Bro Bichette (Zach), locking down the second-best MASH of 72-29-9.
- Bronx Bombers (Doug), rounding out the elite tier with a rock-solid MASH of 70-33-7.
Matchup Mayhem: The Official Results
Here is how the Week 15 head-to-head battles played out:

Focus on the Big Stories: Back-to-Back Cups and a New #1!
Zach's Golden Run to the Top π
What a stretch of baseball for Bro Bichette! Zach followed up his Week 14 performance by winning the Homer Cup outright yet again, blasting a league-high 18 home runs. He backed that up with huge numbers in runs (41) and RBIs (55). This heavy hitting fueled an 8-2-0 routing of Joel and, more importantly, officially propelled Zach into 1st place overall in the standings!
Joel's Basement Lease is Renewed π
There would be no bounce-back story for Walks this week. After recording the Dumpster Fire of the Week in Week 14 , his squad continued its downward trajectory by putting up a miserable 32-75-3 MASH. The heavy 8-2 defeat at the hands of the new league leader officially plummets him back into solo possession of last place. Better start looking up those homemade chip-and-dip recipes for the draft, buddy.
The Commish Plays Kingmaker π
Neate entered the week trying to protect his 1st place rank, but The Commish (Luke) had other plans. Relying on heavy volume on the mound (54.2 IP) and an excellent 10.21 K/9, Luke kept the pressure on and secured a definitive 7-3-0 victory. The loss knocked Neate off his perch down to 2nd place, proving that Soulja loves playing the spoiler role.
This Week's Hard Luck Award π’
This week's award for statistical suffering belongs to Garrett (Raleigh Caps). G's squad didn't actually play poorlyβthey posted a perfectly respectable, above-.500 MASH of 54-52-4 (good for 6th in the league). In almost any other matchup, that's a competitive week or a neat win. Instead, he drew the absolute buzzsaw that was Ads' #1 MASH performance. Garrett got standard-deviated into oblivion, taking a brutal 1-9-0 beating just for showing up to the wrong stadium.
This Week's "Got Away With One" Award π
The lucky horseshoe belongs to Bruce and Joe (TNTNT). The Thompson Boys turned in a thoroughly uninspiring 41-60-9 MASH, failing to find much pop or pitching consistency. Under normal circumstances, that sub-.400 performance gets you buried. Fortunately, they lined up against Jordy, whose team was even quieter. TNTNT managed to walk away with a 5-4-1 matchup victory. Regression is lurking in the shadows, boys, but take the points and run!
Dumpster Fire of the Week: Ricky Vaughn Submarines π₯
After sitting pretty in the top tier earlier in the season, Forge (Ricky Vaughn) has completely lost the plot. His squad put up an abysmal, league-worst MASH of 26-77-7. He couldn't buy a run (26 RBIs, .239 AVG) and his pitching staff got shelled to the tune of a 5.44 ERA and 1.58 WHIP. Doug happily accepted the gift, handing Forge a painful 1-8-1 blowout. The fire is burning hot in Ricky Vaughn territory.
