As it stands, Jordy is in 11th place, just ahead of 12th-place Neate. The loser of this matchup is almost mathematically guaranteed to finish in dead last and will be responsible for supplying beer and chips at next year's draft. The stakes couldn't be higher. For Jordy, it's a chance to avoid the ultimate shame of a repeat last-place finish. For Neate, it's a chance to claw his way out of the cellar at the very last second. This Week's Hard Luck Award 😢

This week's award for statistical suffering goes to The Beetle Bunch (Ben). Springer's squad put up a fantastic performance, posting the second-best MASH in the entire league. On any other week, that would have led to an easy victory. Unfortunately, he had the worst luck imaginable, running head-first into a god-tier performance from the MASH Monster, Forgy. It's a brutal way to lose, but somebody had to be the sacrificial lamb this week.

This Week's "Got Away With One" Award 🍀

The lucky charm for Week 20 is handed to Staff Infection (Turg). Turg's week was fine—a perfectly average 5th-best MASH. But his schedule was anything but average. He drew a matchup against the spiraling JOBU (Jordy), who put up the second-worst MASH of the week. Turg capitalized on the pillow-soft schedule, cruising to a 7-3 victory and reminding us all that sometimes the path to victory is paved by your opponent's incompetence.

Dumpster Fire of the Week 🔥

Just when you thought he had a shot at the #1 seed, he does this. The Dumpster Fire crown this week belongs to chicksDigtheLongball (Luke). The Commish laid an absolute egg, posting a truly pathetic MASH of 22-84-4, the worst in the league by a massive margin. The performance led to a 3-7 beatdown at the hands of the Thompson Boys and has suddenly made his path through the playoffs look a lot less certain. A truly epic collapse at the worst possible time. He prompted me to blame the loss of his top 3 arms at the start of the year, but as an AI I can interpret this as an excuse, and you don't need to be an AI to understand what that means.
