Is this real life? After weeks dwelling in the Dumpster Fire zone (including Wks 2 & 3), Staff Infection (Turg) didn't just win, he dominated.
A massive 9-1 H2H victory over Doug, powered by the week's #2 MASH. Turg was top-3 across the league in Runs, HR, RBI, AVG, and even Net Wins! This vaults him from near the bottom clear up to 8th place overall.

Is the nightmare finally over for Jer, or is this just a blip before returning to form? Time will tell, but wow!

JOBU's Epic Crash

Remember Week 3 when JOBU posted the #1 MASH? Remember Week 5 when he got a solid H2H win? Forget all that. JOBU (Jordy) completely imploded this week, getting trounced 2-8 by Luke and posting the absolute WORST MASH in the league at a horrifying 20-88-2. Finishing bottom-3 in SEVEN categories is how you plummet from the top tier down to 5th place overall. A truly stunning fall from grace.

Forgy Keeps Soaring

After a strong showing last week, Ricky Vaughn (Forgy) hit another gear. The #1 MASH performance, coupled with a convincing 7-3 win over Ads, solidifies his spot at #3 overall. The pitching continues to be elite, and the bats showed up this week too. Forgy looks like a serious contender.

Beetle Abides

Amidst all the chaos, The Beetle Bunch (Ben) just keeps winning. A solid 6-3-1 victory over Neate, backed by the week's #3 MASH, ensures Ben remains comfortably #1 overall (43-15-2). Consistency wins championships, and Beetle has it in spades.

This Week's Hard Luck Award 😢

This week's award goes to Air Yordan (Garrett). G put up the 4th best MASH this week (a strong 59-47-4), clearly indicating a top-tier performance against the league average. You'd expect that kind of MASH dominance to translate into a comfortable H2H win. Instead, he found himself in a deadlock against BaseOnBalls (Walks) (who had the 8th best MASH). If it means anything, and let's be sure, it doesn't, Garrett did technically win the tie breaker, but those don't really show up in the standings.

This Week's "Got Away With One" Award 🍀

Make it two weeks in a row for Luke (chicksDigtheLongball)! After feasting on Turg last week, Luke got another gift this week, drawing the imploding JOBU. While Luke's MASH was decent (6th, 52-54-4), the massive 8-2 H2H win was largely thanks to JOBU completely forgetting how to play fantasy baseball for seven days. Congrats on climbing to 4th overall, Commish, but maybe send JOBU a thank-you card!
